Every month, I go into my TBR with the best intentions. I carefully pick books across genres, convince myself I’ll stay perfectly on schedule, and then somehow end up adding even more books midway through the month (classic reader behaviour honestly). May was exactly that kind of reading month with a mix of planned reads, unexpected additions, emotional stories, romance binges, and books that completely surprised me.
One thing I’ve realized lately is that I’ve been leaning more toward books that feel something stories with emotional depth, characters who stay with you, and writing that lingers even after the final page. And honestly? May gave me quite a few of those moments.

How do you decide what books to read? Is it random? How can we get your feedback and thoughts on our own books?
Thank you for following me on Goodreads! My reading choices are usually a mix of genres I enjoy, authors I have read before, and sometimes just a book that catches my eye.

Thank you for the list of books. They look interesting. I love reading books and listening to audio books. On Storytel I listen to Kannada books. But I read as I get the books. So I don’t make a list.
Thank you! I love that you enjoy both reading and audiobooks. I’m a bit of a list-maker, but there’s something lovely about simply picking up whatever book comes your way and enjoying the journey. Happy reading!
