Every month I tell myself I’ll keep my TBR small and manageable… and every month I somehow end up adding more books. At this point, I’ve just accepted that my reading plans are always going to be a little overambitious. July is no different, but honestly, I’m not complaining because this month’s stack looks so good.
What I’m especially excited about this time is that my July TBR has a little bit of everything I’ve been in the mood for lately like romance, emotional reads, mystery, and books that feel immersive right from the start. A few of these are by authors I already love and trust, which makes me even more excited to finally get to them, and then there are some newer picks that I’m really curious about. Overall, this feels like one of those reading months that could either go exactly as planned… or turn into complete mood-reader chaos. Either way, I’m looking forward to it.
My June TBR
- The Palace of Illusions by Chitra Banerjee Divakaruni
- Mercy by Julie Garwood
- In Another Universe by Jyuu Anna
- Still Not Over You by Nicole Snow
- Dying to Please by Linda Howard
- Stranger in the Moonlight by Jude Deveraux
- Behind the Net by Stephanie Archer
- Wrong Wedding by Noelle Adams
Let’s see how many of these I actually end up reading by the end of the month because, as always, the real challenge is not making the TBR… it’s sticking to it.

Just looking at the covers I would choose Mercy. But they say don’t judge a book by its cover 😂 Good luck 😀
