Like every month my reading mood has other ideas. July was no different. While I did make my way through several books from my original list, I also ended up adding a handful of unexpected reads along the way. (At this point, I think my TBR has officially accepted that it’s more of a suggestion than a schedule.)
Looking back, July turned out to be a wonderfully balanced reading month. There was historical fiction that kept me turning the pages, emotional family sagas, mysteries, and even a few books that completely stepped outside my usual comfort zone. Overall, July gave me plenty of memorable characters, emotional moments, and stories that stayed with me long after I finished them.
