It’s time for another TBR, and I’m once again convincing myself that I can stick to a reading list. Every month I make a plan, and every month a new book comes along and completely ruins it. But honestly, I wouldn’t have it any other way.
For October, I’ve picked eight books (for now!), and I’m quite excited about this list. There’s historical romance, romantic suspense, contemporary romance, paranormal romance and, of course, some of my favourite authors.
My October TBR
- Open Season by Linda Howard
- A Civil Contract by Georgette Heyer
- Cold Malice by Toni Anderson
- Welcome to Temptation by Jennifer Crusie
- Burn by Suzanne Wright
- The McGregors: Alan & Grant by Nora Roberts
- Murder List by Julie Garwood
- Whispers in the Dark by Maya Banks
Now comes the difficult part: actually sticking to this TBR.
Eight books sound perfectly manageable right now, but we all know how quickly things can change once I start reading. A random recommendation, an unexpected mood read or a book that suddenly demands my attention can completely change the plan.
Still, I’m excited about my October reading list. Let’s see how many of these books I manage to finish and how many new ones sneak their way in!

Wow, reading 8 books in a month, I don’t do that many in a year 😅. No time to read with all the other commitments(mostly work stuff). I try to read 25 books in a year and I fail miserably.
