There is something about buying books in physical form that just makes the whole reading experience feel extra special. And this little haul of mine may be small, but I’m honestly very excited about it. I picked up four books recently, a mix of authors I already enjoy, books I’ve wanted to own for a while, and one that I simply could not leave behind when I spotted it in paperback.
That one book was Nobody’s Baby But Mine by Susan Elizabeth Phillips. I had already read it earlier in digital format, but the moment I saw a paperback copy, I knew I had to get it. Some books just deserve a place on the shelf, and this was definitely one of those for me. There’s something so satisfying about owning a physical copy of a book you’ve already enjoyed, especially when it’s from an author you love returning to.
The other three books in this haul are all books I’m really looking forward to reading, Mercy by Julie Garwood, Stranger in the Moonlight by Jude Deveraux, and The Palace of Illusions by Chitra Banerjee Divakaruni. It has a little bit of romance, a little mystery, and a book I know is going to be a very different reading experience from my usual comfort-zone picks.
Honestly, this is the kind of mini haul that makes me ridiculously happy. Not too many books, not too few, just enough to make my shelves look better and my TBR grow once again (as if it needed any help).

Yay for a fun book haul! Divakaruni’s book sounds like an emotional read with an interesting setting.
